Castell de Rocaberti is an imposing medieval castle located midway between the historic cities of Girona and Figueres and the seaside beaches of the Costa Brava.
The impressive building is the focal point at the heart of a quiet little Catalan village.
It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and offers views to the mountains and beyond.
As you enter through the magnificent portals, you will be struck immediately by a sense of peace and tranquillity.
Perfect as a Costa Brava wedding venue the castle dates back to the 15th C and it has welcomed kings, queens and other aristocracy over the centuries. Today its 13 bedrooms, some suites, and 15 bathrooms, distributed in its four storeys, offer every convenience of modern life and make for a most inviting and comfortable base to explore the nearby region. The ground floor is where you will find the semi professional kitchen and spacious dining hall with capacity for over 30 people. The kitchen also has easy access to the outdoor BBQ and pool area.
The first floor is where the aristocrats would have lived, and is the one with the most sophisticated feel. It includes a large salon, dominated by a great fireplace and with comfortable furniture and stunning antiques.
Given its village setting, the castle has an “urban” garden: a broad elevated terrace, one section shaded by a large pergola that creates a cool outdoor living room, it includes a “plunge” swimming pool for quick refreshment, otherwise the Costa Brava beaches are only 20 minutes away from this luxury Spain villa.

We can help plan itineraries, suggest excursions such as a day trip to Cadaques and help with car hire/airport transfers if needed.

Magnificent Catalonian Castle
This castle is an absolute gem! Fantastic social areas, beautiful terrace ideal for barbecue, great kitchen with all equipment needed, even for parties of 20-30 persons. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, almost all rooms with en suite bathrooms. Our only regret is staying too short! The beautiful backdrop of the pyreenees is indescribable! Ideal for groups, both corporate (which was my case) or groups of friends. The pool is small, but nice and clean!
The owners are very friendly and easygoing. They are very accommodating - everything is possible! Just ask and the will provide! The service of Charming Villas was excellent, swift and precise.
I will certainly be back with other groups. I was asked to give suggestions of improvement, but couldn't think of anything - it's perfection already!
