Charming Villas Catalonia is an online accommodation booking agency specialised in hand-picked high quality homes and villas in Catalonia. It is officially registered at the Tourist Registry of Catalonia with licence number AATB-7.
It is run by Richard Calvin and Sara Marti, a British/Catalan couple living in the medieval village of Besalú, inland from the Costa Brava. Both speak English, Spanish and Catalan. They personally visit all of the villas that are featured on this website and are in regular contact with their owners.
Whereas most other villa rental agencies spread their resources offering properties in other parts of Spain, or even multiple countries, we focus all of our energies solely on Catalonia which means we truly are local specialists. We love nothing more than sharing our extensive local knowledge with our clients and making sure each and every single client receives a bespoke and personal service when booking with us.

We aim to provide a professional service acting as a bridge between owners who wish to rent their properties and clients who are looking for a holiday accommodation.
Our efforts are focused on selecting holiday homes in good destination areas that are charming, comfortable, well equipped and well maintained, and to provide our clients with unbiased descriptions of each villa, helping them find a home that is right for them and fits as much as possible their holiday requirements.
As a client, you will still be renting your property from the owner, but unlike websites where the owners advertise themselves directly, with us you can rest assured that we will gladly answer any questions you may have -about the property itself or the area where it is located- and we will give you honest impartial advice on the stronger and weaker points of each villa, breaking language barriers or other difficulties you might have to face if dealing directly with the owner.
Once you have decided which villa you want to go for we will handle your booking process from start to finish, and when this is completed we will make sure that all the necessary arrangements are made for your arrival.
From this point you will be handed over to the owner (or property manager), who will manage your check in and stay in their holiday home. However, we will also be available on the phone or in person at all times should you require our advice or help.
On your return we will send you a post-holiday questionnaire so you can give us your comments about your stay; your opinion will help others when planning their holiday and will also help us to enhance and improve our services.
