Where is Catalonia?

Catalonia is an Autonomous Community within Spain, situated in the northeastern corner of the Iberian Peninsula. It is flanked to the north by France and Andorra, to the south by the Community of Valencia, to the west by Aragón, and to the east by the Mediterranean Sea, with more than 500 km of coastline.

How to get there

Best gateway airports are Barcelona (direct from the US) or Girona (from the UK).

From Barcelona, you can reach Girona in just over 1 hour by train or car. Perpignan airport in south France is also just over an hour drive to Girona.
