Aiguafreda Luxe is a unique Costa Brava luxury villa located in a prime location with great sea views in one of the most sought-after areas of the Costa Brava between the beaches of Sa Riera and Sa Tuna. Surrounded by a large plot of land of 17,000m2 with Mediterranean greenery and beautiful pine trees, a large swimming pool and direct private access to the sea.

The house is spacious and great for a large group of up to 12 people (a couple of extra single beds can be provided for children if requested, at extra charge). Nicely decorated in a Classical Mediterranean meets Shabby Chic style and with high quality bed linen and furnishings. The main upper salon has access to an ample terrace with a large table and chairs. A great place for evening dinners overlooking the nearby sea. In 2022 a small brand-new outdoor heated pool was added to the area behind the house and with access to the kitchen and upper living areas.

The property has been recently refurbished to the highest standards, with stylish furnishings and fine attention to detail. It consists of one main large four-bedroom house and adjoining two-bedroom apartment which has its own independent access.

Living Spaces

The main house is spread over two floors. The ground floor with three bedrooms, a billiards room and a long entrance hallway which has a lovely cooling sea breeze. The upper floor has a further two bedrooms and WC, reading room, kitchen and main salon. The main salon has sofas and chairs, TV as well as a baby grand piano. From the salon one has access to the outer terrace which enjoys wonderful panoramic sea views. There is a long dining table and chairs for 14 people on the terrace. There is also a round dining table for six people between the salon and kitchen.

The adjacent independent apartment has two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchenette with table for four and washing machine. It also has its own seating area with sofa and TV.

Outdoors

The main feature of the outdoors is the huge private swimming pool with extended patio. The cami de ronda skirts the property yet the house and grounds offer a high level of privacy. Next to the apartment is a chill-out seating area. The grounds has three private gates - one which leads to a path taking you under the cami de ronda directly on to the rocky shore. There is no beach here but it is possible to swim from the rocks without any trouble. A second gate leads the cami de ronda and a two-minute walk to the bay of Aiguafreda where one finds a good restaurant Sa Rascassa. A third gate leads to the cami de ronda and the Cap sa Sal restaurant. In 2022 a second and smaller heated pool has been added.

Locally based we offer a free concierge service to all of our clients. We can help arrange a whole range of extra services including securing tables at top restaurants and private chefs to cook for you at the villa. We can help plan itineraries, suggest excursions and help with car hire/airport transfers if needed.

Distances

Two minutes' walk to the bay of Aiguafreda. 15 minutes' walk along the coastal path to Sa Tuna. Begur five minutes, Girona 45 minutes and Barcelona 90 minutes.
