Mas Gavarres is a beautiful Catalan Masia restored to a very high standard. It has a modern, spacious and open-plan style, yet the house still retains many original features.

With amazing panoramic views of the Gavarres and the Costa Brava in the distance, this house is perfect for those who seek a peaceful and quiet holiday location where one can switch off from the daily hustle and bustle of modern life. However, there's so much to do at the house and grounds that adults and children alike will be kept well entertained, plus the nearest beaches are less than 30 minutes' drive away.

The outdoor space is divided into various sections. Immediately in front of the house is a lawned area with a good sized infinity pool overlooking the stunning forestal views. The pool has a shallow area for young children to paddle, and is surrounded by treated wooden decking and many sleek sun loungers. In front of the pool and on a lower level there is the chill out and BBQ area with plenty of relaxing and shady seating, a table to seat 12, chair swings, sparkly lights and a small kitchen. The chill-out area also allows gorgeous views over the forest and down to the sea in the distance, and is the perfect place to spend the evening. The kitchen contains fridge, dishwasher, plates and cutlery etc, so that you can use the BBQ without having to bring things up and down from the main house every time you want to eat.

In addition there is a large full size tennis court, a trampoline and a tree house a little further from the house which help make this a perfect family vacation home.

The interior is sleek and modern, and all rooms have been thoughtfully furnished. All six bedrooms have modern en-suite bathrooms. There’s a twin bedroom on the ground floor and five bedrooms on the first floor. Three of the bedrooms are doubles, one is a twin with beds that can be put together, and one is a children’s room with two sets of bunk beds. There are also a few foldable beds suitable for children and three travel cots if required.

Living space includes a large open space kitchen with all mod cons, a small sofa area and a dining room that seats 12. The outdoor dining table adjacent to the kitchen also has a dining table for 12, and with those panoramic views once more, is perfect for al fresco dining.

There is a comfortable TV room with large sofas, and well equipped games room with pool table, table tennis, table football and darts.

The house has been designed with many large windows so as to make the most of the views, and which make the interior beautifully light, and airy yet air conditioning keeps the house cool and refreshing. On the first floor there are two A/C units which keep the whole floor cool.

Mas Gavarres is available to rent as a small scale intimate wedding venue, perfect for your Costa Brava wedding. The house is also a great choice as a corporate getaway in Spain - let us help you plan your company corporate retreat. This is a pet friendly villa and pets allowed upon request.

Tennis court with viewing area. Trampoline. Olive, Fig and lemon trees in a small orchard. For those who enjoy countryside walks there is a pleasant circular 1 hour walk through forest from the house.

Locally based we offer a free concierge service to all of our clients. We can help arrange a whole range of extra services including securing tables at top restaurants and private chefs to cook for you at the villa. We can help plan itineraries, suggest excursions such as a day trip to Cadaques and help with car hire/airport transfers if needed.

25 minutes to the closest beaches around S’Agaro and approximately 45 minutes' drive to the beaches of Begur and Palafruguell.
