Built in 1909 and catalogued as a “protected building” this unique property sits in the middle of a large romantic garden designed by the famous architect Jean-Baptiste Nicolas Forestier, within a family-owned finca of 5 hectares. Villa Carina is one of the highest standard vacation rental properties close to Barcelona.

It is well connected by both train and car with Barcelona (just 40km away) and the Costa Brava.

The house has been restored several times yet always maintaining its original charm, decorated with valuable antique furniture, high ceilings and original hydraulic tile floors.

It has several halls, sitting rooms and dining rooms, both interior and exterior, and provides plenty of space for a big family or group to enjoy privacy and comfort. All rooms are spacious, illuminated, and with large windows.

The building is distributed on three floors and has an additional two bedroom guest house.

Ping-pong, recently re-surfaced tennis court, fronton court, swimming pool (17x7m), basketball hoop, roller-blading ring, horses with a round pen and a riding arena.

Locally based we offer a free concierge service to all of our clients. We can help arrange a whole range of extra services including securing tables at top restaurants and private chefs to cook for you at the villa. We can help plan itineraries, suggest excursions such as a day trip to Cadaques and help with car hire/airport transfers if needed.
