Villa Alba: Costa Brava area

Villa Alba is a new build modern style Costa Brava vacation rental villa located in a quiet residential area just a few minutes' from one of the best golf courses on the whole Costa Brava. The small town of Santa Cristina is only five minutes' by car and here one finds a selection of restaurants, shops, bakery, butchers and supermarkets. The nearest beaches are just 10/15 minutes away by car from the villa.

With its interesting architectural angles the house is built over three levels with the upper level being the main living area. This upper floor comprises of outdoor areas to the front and back with a spacious terrace for dining and relaxing to the front and where one can enjoy the panoramic countryside views. At the back the heated 8m x 5m swimming pool has a shady seating area and a small bar.

The interior upper floor is dominated by the central positioned fully equipped kitchen and the 4m long central silestone island with up to 10 breakfast stools. Two further indoor seating areas and a dining table for 14 people and a WC.

The middle and the bottom floors each have three en-suite bedrooms which are all very similar in layout with lavatory, shower and wash basin. Each bedroom has forest views and the large glass sliding windows with balconetts and roll down shades. Two of the bedrooms also have a stand-alone tub. Both the middle and ground floors have a small lounge area with TV and a kitchenette with microwave and fridge. In one of the lounges the sofa converts into a bed if required.

The middle floor has a large covered outdoor area with room for two or three cars. Here one also finds table tennis and access to the gym and a laundry area with a washing machine and dryer.

All floors are connected by an elevator.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

All bedrooms are of a similar style and size but each one is decorated with a different colour local artisan tiles which gives a fun and distinctive twist to the bedrooms.

All bedrooms have rainforest showers, bluetooth music box, TV, hairdryers, underfloor heating, cupboard units, USB connections for charging mobile phones and a choice of different pillow grades.

All beds can be made up as single beds or doubles.

Middle Floor

Bedroom 1. Yellow room. 2.0m x 1.8m double bed.

Bedroom 2. Red room. 2.0m x 1.8m double bed.

Bedroom 3. White room. 2.0m x 1.8m double bed. Stand-alone tub.

Ground Floor

Bedroom 4. Green room. 2.0m x 1.8m double bed.

Bedroom 5. Light blue room. 2.0m x 1.8m double bed.

Bedroom 6. Grey room. 2.0m x 1.8m double bed. Stand-alone tub.

In addition there's a couple of fold-down beds and a baby crib available if needed.

Living Spaces

The whole upper floor is the main indoor/outdoor living area. Indoors one finds seating areas on either side of the centrally positioned kitchen area, a WC and steps and also an elevator leading down to the lower levels. To the back of the house is the 8m x 5m swimming pool and a total of 10 sun-loungers. To the front a large open air terrace with dining table, BBQ and comfortable seating.

Both the central and lower floors have a small TV/lounge area with kitchenette - perfect for teenagers or somewhere to relax.

Outdoors

Heated pool from beginning of April until the end of October included in the price. Pool can be easily fenced for child safety if requested.

Household amenities

The house has a lot of modern conveniences such as already mentioned in the bedrooms; bluetooth, USB connections in the sockets, hairdryers, TV's, underfloor heating. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a Nespresso coffee making machine, American style fridge/freezer with ice making facilities, two ovens, microwave. The house has air conditioning in the bedrooms.

Concierge Services

Locally based we offer a free concierge service to all of our clients. We can help arrange a whole range of extra services including securing tables at top restaurants and private chefs to cook for you at the villa. We can help plan itineraries, suggest excursions such as a day trip to Cadaques and help with car hire/airport transfers if needed.

Distances

The house is located in a quiet residential area on the edge of a golfing estate. You are just a few minutes' away from the golf course and the nearest small town which has all amenities is only 5 minutes' in the car. The nearest beaches are 10/15 minutes' by car. Girona 45 minutes, Barcelona 1hr 15 mins.
