Lovely villa

We had a great time at this beautiful villa which we thoroughly recommend - secluded and private, great pool and lovely gardens and rooms.

A few drawbacks included no fly screens, some dog barking in the distance as well as some farm smells. Neither are enough to stop us going back but a shame never the less. Richard was a very good host.

We had the privilege of staying two weeks in this wonderful house early September. The house itself is very spacious, has a warm atmosphere and with the doors opening to the garden brings a lot of fresh after summer feeling to the house. The garden is well kept and because of the irrigation system, every morning it feels as if there was a refreshing after summer shower.  The property is guarded with fences and that provides you with a good and safe feeling if children are wandering around the property. The house has a nice swimming area and from there you have a beautiful view over the surrounding area.

The house is approximately 2km from Ullastret. Convenient for a walk and a cup of coffee. The nearest town to do grocery shopping is La Bibal d’Emporda, it takes you less than 10 minutes to get there by car. An absolute must see is the beautiful town of Peratallada. It’s just 5km away and it’s a very well restored little town. It has one of the best gelatiria’s of Spain and many restaurants. Also in the evening many people go there for dinner and the town is very much alive.

In the area there are many routes to go for cycling. If you like a good walking challenge, you should for sure walk up to castle de Montgri. If you drive around, you can’t miss it. Up to the castle there is no road so you have to put on your boots and make the climb yourself. If you like the beaches more, you came to the right place. Especially the little towns of Lla franc and Callela de Palafrugell and their beaches or the small beaches near Begur are worth a visit.

We had a great time and as may follow from above do highly recommend staying at the house and enjoy its great surroundings.

Stay in Ullastret, near Bisbal

From the moment I spoke to Richard, after being let down by another company, we felt at ease. The booking process, was well communicated, easy and even pleasurable. In terms of the house we stayed in, it was nothing short of fabulous. Gorgeous grounds, fabulous rooms and strong on detail – for a couple of over sensitive designers, that's quite important. Thank you, we'll be back.

Villa is set in a beautiful garden, with lots of fruit trees at disposal (amazing).

Decoration is nice and swimming pool area as well.
