Villa Fonda: Costa Brava area

This sublime modern and stylish luxury Begur villa has been constructed to very high specifications using only the finest materials. Everything about this villa oozes quality from the aesthetically pleasing clean lines and minimalistic design to the high tech media and air conditioning systems. The spacious Bulthaup kitchen with its 6m long central Island is simply amazing and a dream come true for those who like to spend time cooking. The villa is really top notch, however, the biggest "Wow-factor" is the location overlooking the beach of Platja Fonda. The views are simply unbeatable.

The estate consists of two separate and adjoining buildings each with four en-suite bedrooms. The main house comprises a spacious light and airy entrance lobby with one bedroom off to the left. Leading through from the lobby one enters the main living area with the kitchen, living/dining area and direct access to the front terrace and garden. From the lobby, stairs lead to the upper floor where one finds three more en-suite bedrooms including the master suite.

The second building (or Guest house) is set back a little from the first, and entry is through a kitchen/dining area. A large spacious bedroom is found on the ground floor and the remaining three bedrooms are located on the upper floor.

Many of the floors in the bedrooms are tiled with beautiful new Catalan "hydraulic tiles" which first appeared in Catalonia in the 1850's and are synonymous with Gaudi and the Modernism movement of the early 1900's.

The outdoor area is private and has covered parking for up to four cars. The brand new lawned garden leads to the 10m x 5m swimming pool which has a covered porch with grill, BBQ and sink. Also on the garden level one finds a sauna room and a gym with shower. Villa Platja Fonda is without doubt one of the most luxurious villas on the Costa Brava available for rent and is a perfect choice for family reunions and group accommodation in Spain.

All bedrooms have air conditioning and closet space.

Living Spaces

The ground floor of the main villa is the main living area which comprises the spacious kitchen area which flows to the sitting/lounge area which in turn flows to the outdoor main terrace with views of the garden and sea. One can dine indoors or outdoors.

Outdoors

Location, location, location! The views are to die for, and the private garden and pool offers seclusion from the outside world. Direct access to the beach through a side-door in the garden which leads directly to the beach in three minutes. Outdoor Jacuzzi next to the pool. Fire pit with electronic switch. BBQ area with both gas and charcoal options. Plenty of private parking. Basket ball hoop.

Household Amenities

Fully air conditioned and with underfloor heating. Wifi throughout. Two top of the range Jura Capresso one button coffee/espresso machines with beans.

Locally based we offer a free bespoke concierge service to all of our clients. We can help arrange a whole range of extra services including securing tables at top restaurants and private chefs to cook for you at the villa. We can help plan itineraries, suggest excursions such as a Cadaques day trip and help with car hire/airport transfers if needed.

Two minutes' walk to the beach of Platja Fonda, 10 minutes' walk to the nearest restaurant. Begur less than 10 minutes, Girona 45 minutes, Barcelona 90 minutes
