Villa Aiguablava quite simply has it all. This beautiful modern design villa has all modern conveniences such as wifi internet and air conditioning throughout the house. Built over two floors the house is spacious, bright and airy with high ceilings and offers a contemporary minimalist design.
Located within a gated community of five houses the house offers a high level of security and privacy. The house has private access to the beach of Port d'Esclanya and it is also possible to walk to the beach of Aiguablava along the main road in five minutes.
Entrance to the house is through the upper floor which is the main indoor and outdoor living area. Huge sliding glass doors separate the indoor area from the outdoor terrace and pool. The open plan indoor area comprises of a huge living area, dining table and chairs for 12, modern fully equipped kitchen with central island and stools and the master bedroom. The outdoor area comprises of the heated 11m x 4m saltwater infinity pool, an outdoor kitchen area with BBQ and pizza oven and dining table for 12+ people. There is also a covered chill-out area with views of the pool and sea. Garage with space for two cars and with connecting door to the main upper floor.
The lower level comprises of five en-suite bedrooms, a sauna and shower room, a home cinema room with 4K projector and a small games room with table football. Laundry room. Four of the bedrooms have direct access to the garden which contains a giant hammock. A path through the garden leads to the upper outdoor terrace.
Villa Aiguablava is without doubt one of the most luxurious vacation rentals on the market in the whole of Catalonia.

Living Spaces
The spacious main upper floor has a seating area with comfy large sofas and chaise lounges, dining table with 12 chairs and large kitchen. The lower level has a cool home cinema area where one can choose from a selection of DVD's or on-line movies. Also on the lower level one finds a sauna and small games room with table football.
Outdoors
The large salt water infinity pool takes pride of place on the main upper terrace where one can choose to relax on sun loungers or in the shaded chill-out zone. A path leads to the lower garden where one finds a giant hammock, a great spot for reading or afternoon snooze. Pool heating available from April to the end of October.

Locally based we offer a free bespoke concierge service to all of our clients. We can help arrange a whole range of extra services including securing tables at top restaurants and private chefs to cook for you at the villa. We can help plan itineraries, suggest excursions such as a day trip to Cadaques and help with car hire/airport transfers if needed.
Distances
Walking distance to the beaches of Aiguablava and Fornells. Begur and Tamariu less than 10 minutes' by car. Girona 45 minutes, Barcelona 90 minutes.

Jane was excellent in managing the house and any issues we had she dealt with very quickly and efficiently. There was a big storm during our stay which cut the electricity in the area resulting in a few minor problems. Which she sorted out very quickly.

Stunning Villa
We were 10 people- 7 adults, 3 children ages 8, 6, and 1.5. First of all, the villa is gorgeous and modern inside and out and has a spectacular view. The kitchen is spacious and beyond well equipped with a gorgeous outdoor dining space for 12. There is plenty of outdoor living space including shaded areas. All 6 bedrooms are en suite and very private. The indoor and outdoor flooring is stone and very, very slippery when wet, so we constantly had to monitor the children, especially around the pool, but they loved their bunk bedroom and its tucked-away location. The location is ideal and a superb supermarket is only 5 minutes away, as are several restaurants and beaches.

The villa is great. There 's everything one can imagine. You can cook excellent meals for 14 people in many different ways. And the balcony table is wonderful in the mellow evening. This year the dry weather had ruined the lawns that make the outdoors so lovely, but weather we can not change.
This year we had a dinner in Far Nomo - a light house restaurant. Beautiful and good food. Girona is worth a visit and I mean the old town of Girona.
But just to goof around the pool and house is fine for a weeks's holiday. The grocery stores in Begur provide all one needs for a day's nutrition.
I warmly recommend this villa for anyone. But the price of the week demands a thick wallet so it is wonderful so have several couples/families to divide the costs. I surely hope the price does not go up very much anymore.
This was our second visit and I absolutely love this place!

The house is situated in the most magical setting 5 minutes walk to the beach.
It is a beautiful, state of the art house suitable for a large family. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, and are very well equipped along with a phenomenal master bedroom suite and one other extra large suite.

Villa Aiguablava is a well thought out home that is perfect for a group of 10 adults or less.
We were getting together as a globally distributed team for some strategic conversations. 8 of us comfortably fit (with only a couple of people sharing rooms). It is clear that the owners invested in getting this house made just right for the location. The huge windows in the living area made this a great spot for both sunny and rainy weather. A very well stocked kitchen, multiple living spaces. I have already recommended this house to all of my friends and family that would consider Costa Brava for their next holiday.

Every day I walked down to the cove at the foot of the garden to swim in perfectly clear water. Access to Aiguablava beach is easy compared to the scramble for space for everyone else
The house is well equipped for a large family or group of friends. The sheer size of the rooms make it very comfortable for every guest although the scale of the master suite is amazing
The pool is gorgeous and the setting is tranquil and quiet
The house is extremely modern and perhaps quite minimalist in decor for some.
Outdoor living spaces are brilliant and nearly all meals were outside.

Wonderful Aiguablava could not have been more perfect!
From our meet and greet with Jane upon arrival to our signing out at departure, everything was a breeze. The layout of the villa, its rooms, pool, equipment and views were beyond expectation!!
Both the Aiguablava Restaurant and Toc Al Mar restaurant, 10min walk along the costal path in either direction, were wonderful. For a dip in the sea we had the 3 coves, within 5 to 10 min stroll. For groceries Jodofi Supermarket just a mile up the road, had everything.

We absolutely loved this house! It is stunning with the most amazing view. The pool facing the sea was a highlight and we took full advantage. The house is spacious with the master suite upstairs for additional privacy. The house was well-stocked with plenty of tools/dishes for meals in, including a pizza oven. There are plenty of walking paths carved into the cliffs to reach the beaches on either side of the house. We are already planning our next visit.
Begur, the neighbouring town, is so charming. It provides a lovely hike up to the castle. We also walked down the hill to the beach and had a very nice lunch at Toc al Mar.
The staff at Charming Villas could not have been nicer or more accommodating. We will use their services in the future, no question.

Beautiful house, wonderful week
Our family and friends group of 12 enjoyed a fantastic villa. The house is better than the pictures. There are so many interesting sights and activities in the area -- the teenagers loved sea kayaking into caves, the adults enjoyed exploring the small villages both inland and along the coastal paths, and the younger children would have been thrilled just to spend the entire week swimming in the pool and walking to swim at nearby beaches. Truly a wonderful vacation. Thanks to Richard, Sara and Jane for making everything easy!
