Torre del Puig: Costa Brava area

Located in the much sought after Baix Emporda golden triangle you will be hard pushed to find a better located, equipped and beautiful property. Sitting in 20 acres of private olive groves, oak and pine forests one has total privacy and magnificent views of the nearby Gavarres, the Pyrenees and the distant Costa Brava.

The restored farmhouse with 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms sits approximately 200 meters from the Torre which was built in 1911 by the famous Catalan architect Raphael Maso who was a student of Gaudi. The tower has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a small fully equipped kitchen. The views from the top of the tower from sea to mountain are breath-taking. The Torre also has its own circular plunge pool.

Both the farmhouse and the tower have been restored with great care and using only the very best materials. 

Torre del Puig comes with its very own cook (Maria) and you have six meals (lunch or dinner) included in the price you pay. Choose in advance from Maria's delicious local dishes and all you pay is for the ingredients. Maria's selection of Tapas dishes is a firm favourite and is what people often choose as their arrival day evening meal.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Main house

The first floor has four en-suite bedrooms;

Master with en-suite bathroom with bathtub. 

King size with en-suite shower. This can also be made up as a twin single if required.

King size with en-suite bathroom with bathtub.

Queen with en-suite shower.

On the ground floor there is also a twin and a single sharing a bathroom with shower.

Living Areas

Main house

Two separate living rooms, one large with comfortable sofas and mountain views, the other a smaller cosy room with TV and DVD player, especially suitable for younger children.

The large open plan and well-equipped kitchen leads out to a generously proportioned covered eating terrace which in turn leads on to the garden and pool area.

The Torre

Living room framed by the beautiful arched window. Covered porch area leading off from the kitchen, perfect for meals.

Outdoors

Close to the kitchen and covered terrace you find the main pool (15x6m) which has plenty of space for lounging in fantastic swinging hammock beds or for sitting around enjoying a drink or bite to eat.

A second, smaller 4m circular plunge pool is by the tower and is great for cooling off.

A full size tennis court and children’s play area are also to be found in the grounds. Trampoline. Charcoal BBQ.

Wifi throughout and air conditioning in all the bedrooms.

Household Amenities

The house comes with upgraded internet Wifi throughout. Beautiful fully equipped kitchen. Air conditioning in the bedrooms. Electric coffee grinder.

Distances

Located on the edge of the Gavarres national park and within walking distance of La Bisbal which has its weekly market on Friday mornings. The nearest Costa Brava beaches are less than 30 minutes by car.
