Recently restored, this luxurious vacation home keeps the traditional Catalan architecture and style both internally and externally, but also incorporates every modern convenience. It is 2.5km to the beach of Platja Castell and also close to one of the most natural and un-spoilt areas of the Costa Brava coast.

The entire property is securely fenced with gates at each entrance point for exclusivity and security.

As you enter Mas Gall you are greeted by the magnificent domed ceiling and walls of granite stone.

A formal lounge with open fireplace gives a quiet and soft ambience. You will have a view of the lawns and old olive trees.  

On this floor there is also an informal lounge with desk and direct access to a terrace which overlooks the lawns, swimming pool and main driveway to the house.

The spacious and impressive dining room with a unique Catalan ceiling has a terrace with direct access to the gardens and also a convenient walk through to the kitchen.

The kitchen has been created to represent the old Catalan style. It has marble counter tops, a central island and plenty of drawers and cupboards for all the extensive equipment.

On the first floor there is an open area with vaulted ceiling, a comfortable place with settee, arm chairs, library, TV and video player. There is an open or closed log burning fire.  Access to the laundry and ironing room.

On this floor you also find all the bedrooms.

For families with young children panels are available to fit to the stairs and railings on the upper floor making the house more child-friendly.

Bedroom 1: Master bedroom (King size bed) with en-suite bathroom (WC, shower, bath, sink, hair dryer)

Bedroom 2: with queen size bed and en-suite bathroom (WC, shower, bath, sink, hair dryer), plenty of clothes storage.

Bedroom 3: twin beds also includes its own kitchenette and en-suite (WC, shower, sink)

Bedroom 4 and Bedroom 5: each with a pair of twin beds, share a central en-suite (shower, separate bath, WC and two vanities)

Air conditioning and mosquito screens in all bedrooms.

This vacation rental villa has 15 hectares of cultivated gardens, pastures and forest of oak and pine trees which guarantee privacy and seclusion.

There is a beautiful swimming pool (Size: 12 x 6m / Depth: 1 - 1.8m) with heating if required (at an extra charge and available from 1st April to 31st Oct). There is also a porch and a pool house with WC, hot/cold shower. 

Adjacent to the rental villa there are designated and extensive bicycle riding and walking trails.

Distances

The property is just one and a half hour drive north from Barcelona, 40 minutes from the international airport at Gerona and 45 minutes from the new fast European rail link at Figueres. 

The lovely fishing village of Calella de Palafrugell is less than 15 minutes drive away. The beaches around Calella are some of the loveliest on the Costa Brava. You’ve got the long stretch of sand at Calella itself and the smaller beaches and coves nearby, as well as fabulous little bays like Tamariu and Llafranc.

The historic fishing town of Palamos is only 9 kilometers south from the  villa offering more sandy beaches, interesting shops, a marina and of course fabulous restaurants to indulge in the wonderful Spanish and local Catalan food.
