This modern Costa Brava luxury holiday home is built in the traditional natural stone of Cadaques. Located on the edge of the charming village of Cadaques and steps away from the natural park of Cap de Creus.
The property is in a quiet location surrounded by Olive and Cypress trees and is less than 10 minutes' walk away from the historic centre of the village with its bars, cafes, restaurants and beaches.
The villa has a spacious living room with large dining table, fireplace and sofas. Sliding doors lead directly to a partly covered loggia with dining table & lounge overlooking the picturesque bay of Cadaques.
This Cadaques vacation villa is located close to Villa Casamar and can be rented in tandom giving a total capacity of up to 22 people spread over the two houses. Please ask for details.

Locally based we offer a free bespoke concierge service to all of our clients. We can help arrange a whole range of extra services including securing tables at top restaurants and private chefs to cook for you at the villa. We can help plan itineraries, suggest excursions and help with car hire/airport transfers if needed.
Others
In town you will find the Monday market, two supermarkets and many small shops selling fun clothing, jewellery and local pottery. There are several banks, two pharmacies, a dentist and a medical clinic.
Cadaques has over 90 restaurants which offer all kinds of food from traditional Catalan to Japanese fusion. The famous nightlife of Cadaques is concentrated in a little street behind the Rambla with all kinds of restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Most famous is Jazzclub Hostal at the Rambla. The interior has not changed since opening in the 1950's.
Please note: Casa Villarte is built on a hill. Stone steps lead to the entrance. That makes the house not suitable for people with mobility problems. Also in the house there are different levels.

Set on the hills above Cadaqués, this property enjoys spectacular views over the village and the beautiful Bay of Cadaqués. The historic centre is around a 10-minute walk away, allowing guests to enjoy the village’s restaurants, waterfront and historic streets while staying in a quieter position away from the busiest areas. The surrounding coastline, with its crystal-clear waters, rocky coves and dramatic landscapes, provides an ideal setting for discovering Cadaqués and the wider Cap de Creus Natural Park.
Beaches & coastal landscapes
- The coves of Cadaqués: The coastline around the village is dotted with numerous small rocky and pebble coves, many surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and exceptionally clear waters. Sa Conca, s'Alqueria and Llané are among the nearby coves where visitors can enjoy a swim and experience the quieter side of the Cadaqués coastline.
- Cadaqués coastline & boat trips: The rugged shoreline is particularly impressive when seen from the water, with boat excursions and boat rentals offering the opportunity to discover secluded coves, rocky cliffs and stretches of the coast that are difficult to reach on foot.
Art & cultural heritage
- Old Town of Cadaqués: Around 10 minutes away on foot, the historic centre retains the character of the former fishing village, with narrow winding streets and whitewashed houses. The Church of Santa Maria stands above the village and offers beautiful views over the bay.
- Salvador Dalí House-Museum in Portlligat: Dalí’s former home and studio is set directly on the coast at nearby Portlligat, where the artist lived and worked for around forty years. The house preserves the unique spaces he created and provides an insight into the landscape that inspired much of his work.
- Far de Cap de Creus: This historic lighthouse stands at the easternmost point of the Iberian Peninsula, where the mountains meet the Mediterranean. The surrounding landscape offers spectacular views over the rugged coastline and forms part of the extraordinary scenery of Cap de Creus.

- Cap de Creus Natural Park: A spectacular protected landscape where the mountains meet the Mediterranean, characterised by dramatic rock formations, steep cliffs, hidden coves and vegetation shaped by the Tramuntana winds. We enjoyed our stay at Casa Villarte. The house is beautiful and in good condition, with nice furniture and works of art.
The town of Cadaques is a hidden gem. We walked into town everyday. Note that the villa is on a hill overlooking Cadaques, it's a steep 5 minute walk down to the town, but it takes longer to walk up the hill! We would stay here again.
