Surrounded by fields and forests in the peaceful countryside of the Baix Empordà, this property enjoys a tranquil setting at the foot of the Gavarres hills. Views extend across the surrounding countryside and wooded hills, offering a wonderful sense of space and privacy while remaining within easy reach of some of the region’s most beautiful medieval villages and the Costa Brava. - Les Gavarres: Rising behind the property, the Gavarres form a landscape of wooded hills, cork-oak forests, rural paths and scattered farmhouses, offering a peaceful setting for walking, cycling and discovering the inland character of the Baix Empordà.
- La Bisbal d’Empordà: Around 10 minutes away, the capital of the Baix Empordà combines a historic centre with a long-established ceramic tradition. The streets around Carrer de l’Aigüeta are home to ceramic workshops, shops and galleries, while the Terracotta Museum explores the area's important pottery heritage.
Medieval villages & local heritage
- Peratallada: Just 10 minutes away, this beautifully preserved fortified village is one of the most important medieval centres in Catalonia. Its maze of narrow stone streets, defensive walls, towers and castle make it one of the most atmospheric places to discover in the Baix Empordà.
- Pals: Around 15 minutes away, the medieval village rises above the surrounding plain with its fortified old town, stone houses and Torre de les Hores. The municipality also extends towards the coast, where the long beach provides a striking contrast to the historic hilltop village.
- Monells: Around 15 minutes away, this charming medieval village is centred around a magnificent arcaded square that has preserved much of its historic character. Together with nearby Peratallada and Pals, it forms part of one of the most memorable collections of medieval villages in the region.
Costa Brava & coastal landscapes
- The Costa Brava beaches & coves: Around 20–30 minutes away, the coastline offers a remarkable variety of landscapes, from the long sandy beaches of Pals to the smaller rocky coves around Begur. Visitors can easily explore different sides of the Costa Brava, from peaceful sheltered bays and crystal-clear waters to wider beaches and spectacular coastal scenery.
- Begur: Around 20 minutes away, this historic hilltop town is dominated by the remains of its medieval castle and surrounded by some of the most famous coves of the Costa Brava, including Aiguablava, Sa Tuna and Sa Riera.
