Cala Guillola is just a short walk away, with its crystal-clear waters, rocky shoreline and sheltered setting, while the village of Cadaqués is around 10 minutes away by car. From the property, views extend towards the sea and the dramatic coastline, creating a wonderful base for exploring one of the most distinctive landscapes on the Costa Brava.
Beaches & coastal landscapes
- Cala Guillola: A small and secluded cove within the Cap de Creus Natural Park, surrounded by pine-covered slopes and rugged rocks. Its pebble and coarse-sand shore leads into exceptionally clear waters, making it a beautiful spot for swimming and enjoying the unspoilt coastline. The cove is just a short walk from the property.
- The coves of Cap de Creus: The coast around Cadaqués is scattered with small rocky and pebble coves, many of them surrounded by wild Mediterranean vegetation and exceptionally clear waters. Their natural and secluded character offers a very different experience from the larger beaches found elsewhere on the Costa Brava.
- Cadaqués coastline & boat trips: The rugged shoreline around Cadaqués and Cap de Creus is particularly impressive from the sea, with boat excursions and boat rentals offering access to secluded coves, dramatic cliffs and areas of coastline that are difficult to reach on foot.
Art & cultural heritage
- Cadaqués: The historic fishing village of Cadaqués is one of the most distinctive towns on the Costa Brava, with whitewashed houses, narrow winding streets, traditional stone paving and a beautiful waterfront. Its long artistic heritage gives the village a character unlike almost anywhere else on the Catalan coast.
- Salvador Dalí House-Museum in Portlligat: The former home and studio of Salvador Dalí sits directly on the coast at nearby Portlligat. The house preserves the extraordinary spaces created by the artist and provides an insight into the landscape and surroundings that played such an important role in his work.
- Far de Cap de Creus: Standing at the easternmost point of the Iberian Peninsula, the lighthouse marks the meeting point between the mountains and the Mediterranean and provides access to the spectacular landscapes of the Cap de Creus.

- Cap de Creus Natural Park: A spectacular protected landscape where the mountains meet the Mediterranean, characterised by dramatic rock formations, cliffs, hidden coves and vegetation shaped by the powerful Tramuntana winds. - Paratge de Tudela: One of the most extraordinary areas of Cap de Creus, where wind and erosion have created highly unusual rock formations surrounded by a stark landscape of sea, stone and vegetation. The surreal shapes of the landscape famously inspired Salvador Dalí.
