Can Sola: Barcelona area

Dating from the end of the 19th Century Can Sola is a magnificent example of Catalan Modernism architecture. With ornate curved window and door frames, original period hydraulic floor tiles and spacious high ceilinged rooms, this stylish house epitomises fine quality.

The main house comprises three large and elegant living rooms, all quite distinct from each other and containing comfortable sofas, fireplaces, bookcases, TV's etc. The fully equipped modern kitchen leads to the impressive dining room with a beautiful chandelier and which includes one of the largest fireplaces we have seen. The three living rooms and dining room all have views over the garden and to the sea in the distance. The main entrance hallway, dominated by a superb sweeping staircase with wrought iron banister, separates the living rooms to the left and the dining room to the right. The hallway also has access to the kitchen and a WC.

A games room with sofas and a WC is also located on the ground floor.

The main house is where six of the 10 bedrooms are located. The remaining four bedrooms are situated in two, more modern apartments housed in separate wing of the house.

Both apartments have two bedrooms best suited for a couple with children. Both apartments also have a kitchen, living room with sofas, TV and air conditioning.

Surrounded by nature and mature gardens one finds various outdoor porches and seating areas close to the house. On a lower level a little further from the house, is where one finds the large 12m x 6m private swimming pool with both Roman steps and a deep end ladder. Nearby is a cute summer kitchen area with large fridge, tables and kitchenette.

Strictly no celebrations, events or weekend bookings.

A discreet housekeeper lives on-site in self-contained apartment and takes care of the maintenance of the house and grounds and security.

Various porches and terraces located around the main house. Pool area has outdoor kitchen and dining area, sun loungers, children's play area, volleyball net and WC.

Fully equipped modern kitchen with white marble work surfaces and pine breakfast table for 6/8 people. Satellite Wifi, laundry room. Air conditioning in the apartments, not at the main house.

Locally based we offer a free bespoke concierge service to all of our clients. We can help arrange a whole range of extra services including securing tables at top restaurants and private chefs to cook for you at the villa. We can help plan itineraries, suggest excursions and help with car hire/airport transfers if needed.
