Catalan cusine was the most awarded of the 2010 Michelin Awards in Spain. There are now 43 Catalan restaurants awarded, totalling 60 stars. Of these, four Catalan restaurants have 3 stars, which is the highest distinction:

Restaurant El Bulli (Roses), by Ferran Adrià;  El Celler de Can Roca (Girona), by the Roca brothers; El Racó de Can Fabes (San Celoni), by Santi Santamaría; Sant Pau, (Sant Pau), by Carme Ruscalleda.

And 3 Catalan restaurants with 2 stars:

Restaurant Lasarte, in the Hotel Condes de Barcelona, managed by chef Martin Berasategui;  Les Cols in (Olot) -  with a design-like atmosphere by chef Fina Puigdeval; and  Àbac (Barcelona)  by Xavier Pellicer.

There are a further 36 restaurants with 1 star.
