Masia Girona: Girona - Pyrenees

Masia Girona is an impeccably restored 19th century Catalan Masia. Used predominantly as a Spannish wedding venue it is located on the edge of a small village and close to the city of Girona. Some of the best beaches on the Costa Brava are just 30 minutes' away by car.

The Masia has recently been restored to a very high standard with special attention being paid to the bedrooms and bathrooms which all contain high quality mattresses and air conditioning.

With an industrial style kitchen connected to spacious indoor and outdoor dining areas this is a great house where to enjoy large family meals together.

Tucked away in a quiet wing of the main house one finds the massage room with two massage tables where it is possible to arrange for masseurs to provide a selection of different massage techniques.

The Masia is walking distance to two small villages where one will find shops, bars and restaurants. There is also plenty of quiet, flat country roads to explore by bike or evening stroll.

The events hall makes this a great venue for your Costa Brava wedding celebration or Girona corporate getaway.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

All 11 bedrooms are en-suite and are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. All the beds have good quality mattresses can be made up as doubles (2m x 1.8m) or singles (2m x .9m). Also available are six extra single beds for children and three cradles for babies.

Bedrooms 1&2 are located in a seperate annexe next to the main house and each have a small private patio.

Bedrooms 3&4 are located in a seperate wing of the main house.

Bedrooms 5-11 Are all located on the first floor.

Living Spaces

The main house consists of a large central entrance area with the dining room and kitchen off to the left. There is also access from the dining room to a shaddy outdoor BBQ/dining area. Off to the right of the central entrance one finds a spacious lounge area with exposed ancient stone walls, comfortable sofas and a second smaller lounge area with piano and board games. Leading off from the piano room is the two bedroom wing, a guest WC and the massage room.

The first floor is where seven of the 11 bedrooms are located and which all lead off from a large central salon with amazing painted mural ceiling.

Outdoors

The Masia is surrounded by extensive flat lawn in the middle of which is located the 11m x 4m private swimming pool.

Next to the pool is the converted hay barn which acts as a chill-out area with a covered outdoor section where one can relax and keep an eye on the children in the pool. The garden is private and not overlooked and is surrounded by arable farmland.

There is a seperate events hall suitable for weddings and celebrations.

Concierge Services

Locally based we offer a free concierge service to all of our clients. We can help arrange a whole range of extra services including securing tables at top restaurants and private chefs to cook for you at the villa. We can help plan itineraries, suggest excursions and help with car hire/airport transfers if needed.
