Mas Jofre Pals: Costa Brava area

Mas Jofre is a typical Catalan Masia which has been recently and lovingly restored. The farmhouse is a perfect Costa Brava vacation rental for large groups of friends or family and is equally suitable as a Costa Brava wedding venue. The estate comprises of two separate buildings which share various outdoor areas.

The main and original farmhouse with five bedrooms dates from the 17th century and was built around an older fortified tower believed to date way back from the 14th century. The tower now contains a two level bedroom which children absolutely adore. The second building is a converted 18th century barn which now has four bedrooms. Both the main Masia and the converted barn are tastefully decorated, enjoy all modern conveniences, have fully equipped kitchens, living and dining areas.

All of the nine bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and wardrobe space.

The Masia

Living Spaces

The ground floor of the Masia comprises of a entry lobby which leads to the old kitchen of the house which retains many original features such as the bread oven. This room is now a games and TV room. The lobby also leads to the huge main living area of the house which houses the spacious kitchen, dining area and lounge area with big sofas and TV with international channels and Netflix. From this main living area there is direct access through sliding glass doors to different sides of the house: The front outdoor arrival and entry space and on the other side the the courtyard garden with pool.

The ground floor of the barn mirrors the spacious dimensions of the Masia and enjoys a comfortable seating area with sofas and a fully equipped kitchen with dining area both iddoors and outdoors.

Outdoors

The estate has over 1000 Sqm of grounds most of which is impeccably lawned garden perfect for children to run around on. Within the walled courtyard one finds the 6m x 4.5m swimming pool and the outdoor WC and shower. The barn has an outdoor chill out area with seating and dining options.

There is also an events hall for celebrations.

Mas Jofre has good quality internet throughout both the Masia and Barn and both enjoy full air conditioning in all rooms.

We can help arrange a whole range of extra services including securing tables at top restaurants and private chefs to cook for you at the villa. We can help plan itineraries, suggest excursions such as a day trip to Cadaques and help with car hire/airport transfers if needed.
