La Roncadora: Costa Brava area

There's not many better positioned luxury vacation villas on the Costa Brava coastline. Totally integrated into its surroundings this well looked after family home of 500sqm sits within a plot of 3500sqm and enjoys fantastic sea views and is literally just a matter of seconds walk from the garden to the sea. Surrounded by a manicured lawn, the covered porch to the front of the house is the spacious main outdoor living and dining area. From here one has the pleasure of looking at and listening to the nearby sea. The porch also has direct access to the interior of the house with its spacious living and dining rooms, modern kitchen and all five bedrooms.

An added bonus is the private beach hut which contains two kayaks and a large inflatable dinghy and a BBQ, perfect for evening dining at the water's edge.

A section of the Cami de Ronda coastal path skirts the perimeter of the grounds yet the garden is private and not overlooked. The best parts of the day are the early morning and later evening when you will have the beach to yourselves. This is without doubt a worth candidate for inclusion in our luxury Costa Brava villas section.

Two discreet housekeepers live on-site in their own independent quarters and are responsible for cleaning and pool and garden maintenance.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

The house contains five en-suite bedrooms, all on the ground floor and all with direct access to the garden. Bedrooms 2-5 all lead off from a cosy sitting room area with sofa and TV.

Bedroom 1. Master with double (1.8m x 2.0m) four-poster, stand-alone tub and separate shower. Views of garden and pool.

Bedroom 2. Twin single beds (0.9m x 2.0m) with tub and integrated shower. Garden views.

Bedrooms 3. Twin or double (1.8m x 2.0m) with shower and garden views.

Bedroom 4. Twin or double (1.8m x 2.0m) with shower and garden views.

Living Spaces

The main living area of the house is the spacious main living room which to the front leads out on to the covered porch. To the left of the main living room is a second smaller living room/library with a TV. To the right is the kitchen and dining room. The kitchen also has a small breakfast table for four and direct access to outdoors. There is another cosy living area in the bedroom wing with TV and sofa.

Household Amenities

The house has a private driveway and direct access to an underground 40sqm garage with space for one car. Stairs lead up from the garage to the house. There is also ample outdoor parking. Wifi, Central heating, utility room with washer and dryer and extra fridge. WC. Daily maid service of 3 hours included in the price. Please note the house does not have air conditioning.

Outdoors

The covered porch area is a great place to sit all day from sunrise to sunset. The garden is also great for children and is surrounded by plenty of lawn. The 8m x 4m infinity pool is surrounded by decking and has sun-loungers for relaxing. From a private gate at the bottom of the garden one has direct access to a stretch of the coastal path that stretches almost all the length of the Costa Brava. Just below the garden is the beach hut built into the rock face which contains the kayaks and dinghy and charcoal BBQ.

Concierge Services

Locally based we offer a free concierge service to all of our clients. We can help arrange a whole range of extra services including securing tables at top restaurants and private chefs to cook for you at the villa. We can help plan itineraries, suggest excursions such as a day trip to Cadaques and help with car hire/airport transfers if needed.

Distances

Just a few minutes' walk along the coastal path to the bay of Aigua Gelida (sometimes spelt Aigua Xelida). The popular seafront of Tamariu with shops and restaurants is less than 5 minutes' by car and Begur is less than 10 minutes' away. Girona 45 minutes and Barcelona 90 minutes.
