Casa Foixa: Costa Brava area

Enchanting country house located in a quiet corner of the Baix Emporda and surrounded by nature. A perfect choice for one or two families with children looking for a relaxing and homely vacation rental away from built up areas and crowds. Younger children will enjoy the grassy outdoor areas, games and 9m pool yet you are only 20 minutes' in the car to the nearest beaches.

The house originally dates from the 18th century and has been tenderly restored and decorated in an understated, traditional and cosy style. A pretty entrance hall leads to all the main areas of the house with the kitchen on one side and stairs leading to the upper floor where the four bedrooms are found.

The ground floor comprises of the fully equipped kitchen with marble topped work surfaces, a long dining room with traditional Catalan vaulted ceiling which in turn leads through to the bright and airy living room with comfy sofas, chairs, coffee table and fireplace. Both the dining room and the living room have direct access to the garden offering easy indoor/outdoor transition. There is an additional small sitting room with a couple of sofa beds if needed and a bathroom and a laundry room.

Outdoors one finds various living areas including a covered porch with BBQ, large wooden dining table and second smaller round table. In addition there is a second covered terrace with comfy seating and a roof terrace.

Bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 share two bathrooms, one on the upper floor and one on the ground floor. There is also an additional air conditioning unit on the landing of the upper floor which cools the whole floor.

Outdoors

9m x 3m pool with shower and sun loungers. Various seating areas giving both shade or sun throughout the day. Charcoal BBQ, Ping pong, Soccer net. Lawned garden with olive mature trees. Nice countryside views.

Internet Wifi. Air conditioning in two of the bedrooms plus an additional AC unit cooling the upper floor.
