Figueres supermarkets

We have quite a few houses available for rent in the Figueres region and and we are often asked by clients where are the best places to do their shopping. Below is a Google map where a number of supermarkets are highlighted. Bascara also has a couple of small supermarkets and a good quality butchers which are open on Sunday mornings. Bascara also has a small Sunday market selling fruit and vegetables among other items.

When deciding where to do your supermarket shopping in Figueres there’s two Bonpreu Esclat supermarkets. This is where we normally shop as we find Esclat to have the best quality fresh local produce.

Figueres weekly market

Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday there’s a fruit and vegetable market in Figueres. It opens at 07.00am and finishing at 2.00pm. Location; Plaça del Gra i Plaça Catalunya. Also every Thursday in Figueres there’s a large clothing street market held at Passeig Nou, Plaça del Sol i Riera Galligants.
