Masia Cabellut: Barcelona area
Sleeps 14 | Bedrooms 7 | Bathrooms 9 | Size 1000m2
Prior to its recent comprehensive restoration Masia Cabellut's last major building work was documented in 1745 however its origins date back to at least the 13th century. Some 13th century aspects remain such as the impressive main stone facade within the walled courtyard. Over the centuries the Masia has seen life as a hostel for pilgrims and traders on the old Roman Road which runs nearby. The Masia also provided shelter for Napoleon’s troops during the Napoleonic Wars.
The current owners of the Estate have really excelled and have created a modern masterpiece. Being careful to maintain the original character and historic integrity of the property and following strict restoration protocol the result is a clever fusion of Catalan heritage with modern conveniences and stylish minimalist furnishings. In short we have a unique residence offering space, privacy and luxury which is ideal for both multi-family vacations and equally suited for corporate events and wedding celebrations.
The interior spaces are well designed, spacious and flowing. All levels are connected with a modern spacious elevator offering access to all parts of the house to those with limited mobility. The various outdoor spaces offer an assortment of places to sit depending on whether looking for shade or sun.
