The villa is of the very finest in the area and is conveniently located on the edge of a quiet town within exceptional proximity to the city of Girona.
Behind the traditional farmhouse façade lies an inviting, elegant and refined interior, where guests will appreciate the care, thought and attention to detail.
The original property was formed by two main buildings that are now seamlessly connected internally and distributed on three levels.
On the ground floor the spacious and well equipped kitchen is a gourmet cook's dream; both functional and beautifully decorated it includes a comfortable breakfast table.
Close to the kitchen is an impressive dinning room under a traditional vaulted Catalan ceiling. Such an elegant setting will surely make every dinner feel special.
On this level one also finds a large laundry area and two guest WCs.
Up on the first floor there is a spectacular open-plan living room with wrap around windows and a grand piano. A large sliding glass door gives access to a balcony with far reaching views of the garden and countryside. Above the living room a mezzanine offers some office space with a desk and a computer.
The property includes 8 bedrooms, 3 of which are en-suite in the main part of the building. There are a further 4 bedrooms in the guest wing. Two of these bedrooms are large and two are small (suited for children). These 4 bedrooms share one bathroom. There is a final bedroom/studio in an annex situated just opposite the villa.
Outside, Mas Simó boasts a large enclosed garden where guests can enjoy absolute privacy and security.
The gardens are well tended and include a beautiful pond with ducks. There is also a spacious porch with barbecue, ideal spot for summer evening dinners; and an amazing large pool surrounded by stone tiles. The pool area is complete with a changing room that includes a WC, shower and kitchenette.

Sleeps a maximum of 12 adults + 4 children in 7 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms and a studio annex.

Master Bedroom 1 (Queen, 160 cm) with dressing room and en-suite bathroom (double sinks, tub, separate shower)
Bedroom 2 (Double, 135cm) with private bathroom (tub), ideal for 1 person only.
Bedroom 3 (Queen, 160cm) with private balcony, en-suite bathroom (tub) on the third floor.
Bedroom 4 (Queen, 160cm) and bedroom 5 (Twins, 90cm, can be combined as a King) both sharing one bathroom (tub).
Bedroom 6 (Double, 135cm) and bedroom 7 (Double, 135cm) are suitable for children or one person each, as they share the bathroom with bedrooms 4 and 5
Studio annex
In studio annex across courtyard, bedroom 8 (Queen, 160cm) with kitchenette, sitting area & en-suite bathroom (shower).
Living Space
Bright, contemporary eat-in kitchen, ground floor dining room. Large second floor living/dining room with grand piano, wrap-around windows and a spacious terrace.
Outdoors
Large private grounds with carefully tended gardens and duck pond; large swimming pool surrounded by stone tiles; outdoor dining area; horse stable and corral with two horses.

Well-equipped kitchen with microwave, fridge-freezer, oven, food processor and professional gas range. Central heating, washing machine, tumble dryer. Lift, air conditioning in all bedrooms except 4, 6 and 7. Bedroom 4 has a ceiling fan.

30 minutes drive to Figueres , Besalú, La Bisbal.
45 minutes to Costa Brava beaches.

Please note: there are two horses, ducks and hens in the property, but these are kept away from the house.
