This superb restored country house is just 10km from the coast and has fantastic countryside all around, with a wealth of beautiful villages, nature walks and cycle trails.


Fully restored some years ago by an award winning local architect, this centenary house was thoughtfully redesigned using the best appropriate quality fittings and materials available, whilst incorporating modern concepts and design.


The house is very spacious, and its south facing orientation ensures sun all day long.

The property comprises on the ground floor: an entrance hall, a large fully fitted kitchen/dinning room, combining clean modern lines, stainless steel surfaces with traditional Catalan carpentry, and a separate utility room. A large sitting room with open fire, TV, DVD player and stereo.

Also on the ground floor there is a spacious kid’s play room with TV and sofas, as well as two guest bathrooms.


Upstairs, the property is divided into two main sections. The western section includes the master suite, with the master bedroom, a luxury bathroom and a studio/office. The master bedroom has access to a lovely terrace with views.

The eastern section includes four bedrooms, two of which are en-suite and two that share one bathroom.


Outside, the house is surrounded by a landscaped garden with a large pool, providing a peaceful oasis with sun terraces, cosy shaded corners and sweeping well maintained lawns.

Directly outside the kitchen there is a spacious loggia with barbeque and a large table for dinning outdoors. And just opposite the sitting room a large pergola with magnificent wisterias provides fantastic shade in the long summer days.


Mas Pou really offers its visitors the best of both worlds. It is perfect for those looking for a relaxed family holiday away from the maddening crowd and yet it’s so close to the beaches!


Bedrooms and Bathrooms

The house has a capacity for up to 7 adults and 2 children in 5 bedrooms

Bedroom 1: Master suite with queen size bed and en-suite bathroom (wc, sink, shower, Jacuzzi-bath)

Bedroom 2: Twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom (wc, sink, bath)

Bedroom 3: with bunk bed and en-suite bathroom (wc, sink, shower)

Bedroom 4: Single

Bedroom 5: Twin with direct access to terrace.

Bedroom 4 and 5 share one bathroom with wc, sink, bidet and bath.


Living areas

Large eat in kitchen with direct access to a spacious loggia with long table for outdoor dinning and barbeque.

Vast sitting room with fireplace, TV; DVD player, stereo. The sitting room as large sliding glass panels for direct access to the outdoor shaded pergola.


Household facilities

Fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge freeze.Utility room with washer, dryer and ironing board.


Outdoors

Well tended gardens. Spacious loggia with barbeque, large pergola, outdoor sitting areas, ping-pong table, football table, large swimming pool.

The property is close to nature walks and cycle trails.


Others

A couple live in an annex next door, they are in charge of the house maintenance and security.

They have a couple of well behaved dogs, but these can be put within a fenced area if requested.


Included services

Gas, water, electricity, bed linen and towels. Daily cleaning –Monday to Friday.

2012 Weekly Rental Rates

 

  • July & August: 7500 Euros/week
  • Any other time: 6250 Euros/week

Refundable security deposit: credit card autorization to be signed as guarantee.

Arrival day: normally Saturday in the high season, but flexible whenever possible.

Minimum stay: 1 week

Price includes: water, gas, electricity, central heating, air conditioning, bed linen and towles. Daily housekeeping Monday to Sunday.

The house was fantastic in a beautiful peaceful location. I think what was unexpected was the house truly had a feeling of the family that owned it because so much of their stuff was in the house, that really added to the whole experience. Wanda and Miguel were fantastic and really looked after us.
I will certainly recommend your company to anyone I know considering renting in that area of Spain in the future.
