This old fortified masía was completely renovated recently, resulting in a perfect balance between modern comfort and traditional details, such as the metre-thick stonewalls that recall the house's long history. Here you will find absolute tranquillity and relaxation and all just a few kilometres from the most beautiful spots along the Costa Brava.

The entrance leads into a living room with sofas, an open fireplace and TV - a quiet place to kick back and enjoy a good book. Adjoining this room is a spacious living and dining room, followed by the kitchen. The former has more sofas, TV, a long dining table and a series of large, arched windows with a breathtaking view onto the landscape. The kitchen is fully equipped and leads to an outside terrace with a built-in brick BBQ/grill. On this floor there is also a bedroom and a full bathroom.

Up on to the first floor there is another sitting room, and four bedrooms, all en-suite. All of the rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated.

A rather steep staircase leads to a utility room with a washing machine and dryer and out to a sun terrace with a magnificent view.

Outside there is a large garden of 1500m2 and a good size pool of 10 x 5 m.

The landscape around the house is crisscrossed by 2,5km of country paths, ideal for taking long walks in nature. Furthermore, the Fluvià River, where bathing and fishing is permitted, is just 100m from the house.

The surroundings are full of interesting places to visit, including the provincial capital Girona (28 km), Banyoles (18 km), the charming town of Besalú (18 km) and Olot (36 km). The most beautiful beaches are just 30km away - Roses, Ampuriabrava, L'Escala etc. The Torremirona golf course is also in Navata (4,5 km). The only conceivable problem you might encounter is that you feel so at home here, you'll never want to get out of the house...
