This charming country house is located in a beautiful spot, just five minutes walking distance to a small village near Roses and Cadaqués.

The house is only four kilometres from the beaches of the Costa Brava, and from its garden enjoys extensive panoramic views of the Mediterranean, the Gulf of Roses and the Alt Empordà Plain.

Can Llobet was built around 20 years ago taking full advantage of its position, facing the bay and the sun.  All the bedrooms, as well as the sitting room, dining room, and even the kitchen have large doors or windows opening up onto the large garden which includes seven acres of organically farmed land, with olive trees, almond trees, vineyards and a large pool. It is a unique place of outstanding beauty, where you can spend an unforgettable holiday relaxing in natural, unspoiled surroundings.

The house is comfortably furnished and decorated in a casual style. It is distributed on two levels, including on the ground floor: a sitting room, a dining room, two bathrooms, and four bedrooms, one of which has a mezzanine and an en-suite bathroom.

On the second floor there is a large air-conditioned studio with a pool table and sitting area, leading to a terrace with great views.

Next to the terrace there is another bedroom (please note this bedroom is only available upon request and there is an extra charge)

Outside, you will find the swimming pool (6 x 12m), wide terraces for sunning and relaxing, and a fantastic large playroom (50 sq. m.) with ping-pong and BBQ.

Bedroom 1, 2 and 3 share two bathrooms with WC, sink and shower.
Bedroom 4: 1 large family room with one queen-bed on the ground floor, a single bed and a mezzanine with another queen bed. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with WC, bath and sink.
Optional Bedroom 5: 1 quadruple room with 4 single beds and an en-suite shower room. This bedroom is only available upon request. As it is under the roof it may be too hot at the peak of summer.

Fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, coffe maker, toaster. Utility room with washing machine, ironing board, iron.
Other amenities include fireplace, TV (Spanish channels), CD and DVD players, fans and window screens.

 

Outdoors
Swimming pool (6 x 12m) surrounded with a fence and safe for children, wide terraces for sunning and relaxing, and a fantastic large playroom (70 sq. m.) with ping-pong and BBQ.

 

Distances
Just five minutes’ walk from the village, where you will find grocery shops, supermarket, bakery, coffee bar, and bus stop, the house is only four kilometers from the beaches of the Costa Brava. Figueres (20 min.), Girona (45 min.) and the French border (40 min.) are within easy reach. The closest train stations are in Vilajuïga (10 min.) and Figueres (20 min.). Facilities for horseback riding are just five minutes away.

I have to say that this was one of the best vacations my family has ever taken, thanks to the outstanding service and the quality of the home and apartment. Perfect locations, beautiful places, and I always felt confident and informed about the situation and everything else.

Both the home and apartment were wonderfully equipped, everything worked perfectly, and there were even thoughtful extras, such as homemade olive oil at Can Llobet, which was the best olive oil I have ever tasted.

Thank you so much for making this holiday very special. This was the first time my family had ever been in Europe, and they had always wanted to go to Spain.

 

Everything went so well - this was the most perfect introduction to Europe I could have possibly expected for them. Thank you very much for all of your assistance, and I will be recommending Charming Villas very highly to all of my friends.
