L'Almirall
This singular Catalan farmhouse, with foundations that date back to the 16th century, sits atop a small hill, just 10 minutes away from the charming seaside town of Sitges, and Barcelona is only 30 minutes away.
The 1300m2 house was completely renovated a few years ago and tastefully, elegantly and very comfortably furnished. Furthermore, there are 70 artworks and paintings amongst the decoration. A lot of attention was paid to creating spaces that would please different age groups: there are 4 living rooms - one with a pool table, one with a home cinema, one with an open fireplace and a games room - as well as 2 bars, a wine cellar and a meeting room.
The dining room can seat up to 24 people, and the large open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with every imaginable kitchen amenity.
There are 8 bedrooms, all featuring a different style: from the Bali Suite to the Japanese room, there is one to please just about every taste.
Outside there are a variety of corners and areas, such as the infinity swimming pool (18,5 x 6m) with a children's pool, a jacuzzi and a lovely view onto the valley, a sundeck with deck chairs and parasols as well as a Moroccan lounge straight out of A Thousand and One Nights.
Here you can grill on the BBQ and enjoy memorable dinners under a canopy of stars.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
There are 8 bedrooms, each furnished with a double bed and an en-suite bath (5 with a shower, 2 with shower and tub and 1 with a tub). 4 of the bedrooms have a private living room with a double sofa-bed, which can comfortably accommodate 2 people and is therefore perfect for families with children.
The rental includes: Daily maid service and other services can be arranged such as catering, a private cook, babysitter, driver, wine tasting, massage or private yoga class, are also available.
Distances
2km from Sant Pere de Ribes and only 5km from Sitges and its long, sandy beaches. The closest supermarket is 1km away and the restaurants and shops in the centre of Sant Pere de Ribes are 2 km from the house
The heart of the Penedés is Vilafranca, located just 20km from the house. In 30 minutes you are in Barcelona, one of Europe"s most popular cities, and in 45 minutes you are in Port Aventura, a fun-filled amusement park.
Weekly Rental Rates
- Early May to mid June: 12000 Euros/week
- Mid June to early September: 18000 Euros/week
- Early September to end October: 12000 Euros/week
- Christmas and New Year: 12000 Euros/week
- All other periods: 8000 Euros/week
Prices include 7-night rental of main building available from Saturday to Saturday
In low or medium season, daily or weekend rates may be available.
For large gatherings or weddings a supplement may be charged.
Cottage price € 165 per night, with a 3 night minimum
Price reductions may be available for parties smaller than 12
Thanks for all your help in arranging accommodation at L'Almirall. We had a great weekend celebration there. Everyone loved the house and the proximity to Barcelona and Sitges was definitely a great advantage.
