This contemporary renovated apartment is situated in a 1880s building and combines all the comfort of a hotel and the singularity of a family home. Its spacious living area occupies an entire floor of the building, being nearly square in format and measuring 10m by 14m.
The apartment receives direct sunlight throughout the day. It has three balcony windows looking onto Arago street on one side, and two double windows opening onto a quiet interior patio via a terrace gallery.
The overall ceiling height has permitted the placement of a kitchen in the form of a large cube adjacent to the dining area.
The kitchen opens on one side into the living / dining area via a lateral sliding wooden door – on the other side a glass and wood shelving design transforms the cube into an unusual room sized lamp when the kitchen is occupied.
This greatly designed flat includes three bedrooms, two of which have en-suite bathrooms with a third complimentary bathroom opening onto the passage.
The bathrooms are completely fitted and incorporate large cascade showers. Each has a distinct visual aspect, emphasising their singularity.
The property also includes a fully equipped office area with wifi broadband facility.
To achieve the maximum level of acoustic comfort, the original windows have all been replaced with double glazing for maximum insulation.
